Formed in 2003 as a tshirt design project by Anushka and Garo. Over the last few years it has developed as a place for both of us to practice new skills in design/illustration/graphics/pattern making - generally speaking image making. Some experiments have been more successful than others, but Oktobahouse remains the primary outlet for our work, and to showcase our development to you. It's also a handy memo for us to see where we have come from, and where we might be heading.
This is a brand name Garo is working on. Photography is increasingly becoming part of his work and the results are starting to look promising. As soon as something interesting pops up, then the Republic of Stuff will appear under the Oktobahouse name.
